Step 1: Tell us more about your book

Get in touch with us via the form below and tell us more about your book. In order to give you an accurate quotation, we will need to know the length and other important aspects of your book. If you have any questions you can contact us via the "Chat" icon and we will answer any questions you may have within minutes. After you submitted the form, we will be in touch with you on the same day with a quotation.

Step 2: Production Planning

After getting in touch with us, we will discuss what would be the right approach to follow. Some authors love the idea of reading the book themselves. If reading the book yourself sounds appealing to you, now you can do it from the comfort of your home. We are also happy to welcome you to our studio located in Southampton.

You may also consider that a professional voice actor may be a better choice, if that's the case, we have the voice for you. No matter the approach, we have all the solutions.

Step 3: Recording The Audiobook

You or one of our voice actors will get started on recording the audiobook. Depending on the length of the book, this process may take between 2-4 weeks. If you decide to come to our studio, we will book a few studio sessions for you and we will have an audio engineer assisting you the entire time.

Step 4: Editing And Mxing

Once the recording process is finished, we will start editing the audiobook and bring it to an industry-standard level. We will make sure that the final product turns into a great listening experience, so your story gets across. This stage is the most technical part of the production process and it may take another 2 weeks to complete.

Step 5: Final QC And Mastering

Each audiobook we create is listened to twice. The first audition is done during the editing and mixing stage. The second audition is done during the Quality Control And Mastering stage. The QC is a very important stage of the production process, it reveals mistakes such as mispronunciations, misreads, sharp edits and other errors. We will also master the audiobook, making sure that each chapter is at the same loudness, well balanced and that your audiobook fully aligns with ACX's requirements.
